When I say “Home Owner” Do you think Impossible or I’m Possible?

See, my beautiful wife Sara and I became home owners in 2017 but we almost weren’t... In fact if it wasn’t for the guidance of our real estate agent, Allen Fernandez, we would have lost our patience and lost our home and all the money we had put down on it which to us was everything we had... That’s us together down there looking good ;)

Allen kept us focused on what I had written off as impossible...

I had great income but I started the process in June 2016 with a 504 credit score...

I honestly can’t even tell you why I started the home buying process but, nevertheless I persisted...

I went through credit counseling and by the time we closed I was at 611! I wouldn’t have believed it if it didn’t happen to me!

I’m Possible! This Dream will become a reality! I will be a home owner!

That was my affirmation -- my mantra. I spoke it out loud every morning and every night I’d pray to God for his will to manifest it’s self.

Some days I didn’t know if I was contradicting myself or delaying progress but I knew I couldn’t let my negativity affect me anymore.

All of that came in handy because we were supposed to close in November 2016, then in December, then in January... NOTHING BUT EXCUSES February rolled around... NOTHING BUT STRESS AND WORRY

It wasn’t until March 2017 that we got the clear to close! FINALLY!!! Allen never gave up on us, not once!

On March 16, 2017 The Alvarez family CLOSED on our new home! *insert excited emoji here* It was the longest, hardest, most stressful journey we had ever taken... We laughed and dreamed and cried and it was a huge roller coast of emotions that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy... and I would have missed out on it if it wasn’t for the dedication that my real estate agent had for our dreams.

After going through my own new construction home purchase with my family, the entire process left me with a calling to help others find the same joy and feeling of accomplishment I had when we closed.
