We, as in me & my daughters, had a not-very-well-planned, impromtu lunch yesterday... It wasn't specifically for Mother's Day & it happened to be my oldest daughter's birthday. We were just meant to catch up spontaneously since it had been awhile since we'd all been together... hence, why some of us are missing.
I say 'not-very-well-planned' because we ended up choosing to meet at this place my youngest daughter recommended(she had the little one in tow & it was closest to her house) & I didn't realize how far it actually was from my end of town & how the distance would fit into my tight schedule.... But I live on the edge so I made it work!
Let me tell you, this place was pretty dang charming & catered especially to the Ladies, of all ages!! But it was also very Family friendly & had something for everyone! Even the Fellas!
The food was exceptionally fresh & delicious, & the staff was friendly & ridiculously beautiful! Our waitress was sweet as can be & absolutely gorgeous!! 😍
The design boutique was not only high end, but it felt like we stepped into a Wonderland! Literally! It had everything from interiors, jewelry, teas, soaps, .. you name it! Even a spot for treats & sweets!
This place was SO charming that it was definitely worth the distance & time, & we can't wait to plan something with more of the lovely Ladies in our lives!
I don't know what I was expecting, but yeah.. I was charmed. So much that I want to share the experience, so if you have a lovely lady in your life, take her to The White Oak Cottage!! And don't exclude the Fellas or the Fam, the food was beyond YUMMY!! Hello... Bakery & Bistro!!
They even have craft cocktails, events, prime rib & live music nights! Hope to experience that soon, too!
