The Bay area continues to be one of the tightest markets in the country for hotel rooms. In 2020, the Tampa Bay area was #1 for the highest hotel occupancy rates in the country.

Hotel occupancy data suggests U.S. travelers valued warm weather and less-crowded destinations over the usual tourist hotspots amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
