Becky attended Washington State University majoring in Business Management and Sociology. She began her career working as an Administrator with a small Independent real estate office in Washington state. She later decided to cross the US, typical of her competitive spirit, and relocate to Tampa, Florida. This good fortune landed her an important position at Smith and Associates Real Estate as an Administrator which quickly transitioned into the Marketing Department where she would soon become its’ Director. This position proved to identify her strong marketing talent as she became an integral part of the Re-Branding of Smith and Associates, a move that catapulted a resurgence of the company in the market. Becky was also responsible for the partnership between Smith and Associates and the leading web developer for real estate technology. At Becky’s direction, Smith and Associates launched the most technologically advanced website in the Bay area. Moreover, she became an advisor to the real estate agents within the organization as the expert on how to successfully market their properties online, in print media, and with direct mail, resulting in success for the company. After 5 years as Marketing Director, Becky transitioned into general real estate and began a partnership with the Lux team. Becky Slocum’s experience with contract negotiations as well as her ability to correctly position properties in the market allowed the Lux team to remain a top selling team in the company during their five year partnership. In 2014 Becky left the Lux Team to pursue an independent career. Becky’s knowledge, energy, and incredible computer skills have been the core of her success as she stays one step ahead in the technology arena….a win for her clients. Becky is a seasoned marketing extraordinaire and brings you the best real estate has to offer whether you are buying or selling a home. Outside of Real Estate Becky enjoys collecting and admiring Mid-Century Modern furniture, volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries, running marathons and spending time with her husband Jason and their daughter Hazel.
