I’m excited to let you know I’ve transferred my real estate license to Garner and Co. Real Estate, LLC.

Greta Garner and I were business partners at Urban Vision Properties and recently she decided to open her own company.

She has owned several real estate brokerages previously in Mississippi and New Orleans bringing years of experience to her new venture.

Greta is one of the most knowledgeable real estate practitioners I know.

In addition, she’s a consummate professional with a stellar work ethic and really plugged into the local real estate community and its sizable network.

And did I mention she’s incredibly kindhearted and giving?

It doesn’t get any better than knowing and being associated with Greta and Garner and Co.

Happy Year of the Tiger!

Today is the Chinese New Year-the year of the Tiger. It begins a 15 day celebration celebration that Asian communities around the world celebrate.

The tiger is commonly associated with bravery, courage and strength. The tiger can give people hope, especially during these challenging times.

The Chinese New Year is also know as the Lunar New Year as it begins with a new moon.

This seems like a perfect time to let you know the results of my birthday fundraiser for One Sky, an organization that trains communities and caregivers how to unlock the potential in our world’s most vulnerable young children in China, Vietnam, Mongolia and Hong Kong.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this worthy cause. Due to your philanthropy, we were able to raise $1,591 during this fundraiser, $931 through Facebook and $660 directly to One Sky. As promised, I was honored to match that amount for a total donation of $3,182.

Your generosity is overwhelming, and my daughter Nola and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
