Casa Del Prado

Casa Del Prado Casa del Prado is our Land of Enchantment escape perfectly situated on a sage covered meadow with a magical view of the sacred Taos Mountain and Pueblo Peak.

At Casa Del Prado, you're immersed in the Land of Enchantment. It’s a land of immense contrasts. From the 13,000+ ft. high Wheeler Peak to the 750 ft. deep Rio Grande Gorge; from the pristine lush valleys to the expansive meadows of fragrant sage and the Aspen dotted hills and snow-capped mountains. And...rainbows and sunsets like you’ve never seen. The food is amazing. The views are breathtaking.

The air is clean. The water is clear. There’s art everywhere. It’s a land of kiva fireplaces, viga ceilings, saltillo tile floors, latilla fences, turquoise-blue doors, aspen and cottonwood trees, green chile stew, calabacitas, pueblo people, adobe buildings, unpaved roads, happy dogs on restaurant patios with their masters, and red dust everywhere. We love that the elevation and latitude and longitude all come together to create and angle of refraction of the light of the sun on the atmosphere that produces a cerulean blue sky like no where else on the planet. Carpe diem mañana.

"I love Taos. I love Taos because the sunsets open a part of your heart. The remarkable beauty that is a slice of heaven, its home. I love Taos because this is the land of my ancestors...Spanish and Native American and "global mix"...Survivors. I love the fact that countless generation's of my relatives walked on this land before me. I love the fact that my Sons and grandson walk this valley still. They are able to see these remarkable mountains and sunsets, walk with the elk, mountain lions and big horn sheep. Taos is magic, it opens up your soul" - Maye Torres, owner of
Studio 107-B on the Taos Plaza.
