I was born in New York to immigrant parents. My mother was born in Cuba, and my father in Spain. They came to this country to give me a better life, and their sacrifices afforded me the opportunities to become who I am today. Upon graduating from New York University, I landed my first job as a patient advocate with Mt. Sinai Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York. Here is where I met my husband and had two exceptional children, now 24 and 28. After several years in the healthcare industry helping patients, I moved to Florida to raise my children and change careers.
I held several positions, from being a loan officer, real estate assistant, and project manager to a Healthcare Informatics specialist assisting small provider offices in implementing Electronic Health Record systems. What I learned most about myself is that I love to learn new things and genuinely enjoy helping others, whether in a consultative role or hands-on.
In my spare time, I enjoy salsa dancing, stand-up paddle boarding, going to garage sales, and picking up unique pieces to refinish them. I am highly organized and often find myself helping friends with various managing projects.
One of my many accomplishments was receiving my realtor's license to help individuals and families with their home or business needs. The skills I have acquired through the sum of my personal and professional experience will show you that I am trustworthy, responsible, hardworking, and will always have your best interest at heart.
