Hello out there in radio land. I just received an email from the Pasco Tax Collectors Office. They are starting a new program of remotely issuing drivers licenses to people in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. So what they are saying is they will be going to these locations and issuing drivers licenses to (and I quote) those with transportation or health issues. I'm not sure but if a person in an assisted living or nursing home is physically unable to leave the home to go to the DMV, do they really need there license renewed? I'm 77, so don't jump on me for picking on old people. ONLY IN FLORIDA!
