Interesting article on Marshall, Texas' mayor who fought cancer through a healthier diet! Did you know that Kenny's Place (under construction in downtown Taylor, Texas - Main Street) will have healthier choices including vegetarian and vegan food? It will also have all the other stuff you love too, but a healthier Taylor, Texas is something to look forward to! Kenny's Place will FINALLY be opening in late February or early March!

Ed Smith, the five-term mayor of a small city in east Texas, successfully treated his prostrate cancer with an aggressive diet of plant-based, whole foods. Then he and his wife spread the word to the rest of town.

This weather wasn't my cup if tea, but Chevrolet Motor Company happened to think it was just perfect to film their 2014 Super Bowl advertisement in on the streets of Historical Downtown Taylor, Texas! Glad they could find some shelter and parking at Pierce Plaza!

So excited to be able to announce that our new TPO roof is being installed today by local roofing company A&B Sheetmetal and Roofing above the future home of Kenny's Place restaurant at Pierce Plaza! This along with our energy efficient windows should give us an Energy Star rating! Next up for Kenny's Place HVAC! Updates soon!
