Design tip of the day: Don't ever be afraid to DIY.
This chalk board frame was built by my father in law and the table was constructed by our design team at Southern Dream Homes. The magnolia wreath tops it off; all the while, being much cheaper since I made it myself.

Design Element of the Day: repurpose old pieces into new. This picture has two repurposed pieces including the crib mattress base and a repainted China cabinet.

Don't be afraid to use old pieces with new. This mirror was in pieces at a local antique store. With a little TLC this piece came back to life and has a new home.

Vintage can be created in any area. Seasons and holidays can also be added quickly with small pieces used interchangeably.
