Regret #1: Trusting the Builder’s Agent Without Getting Your Own

She bought a new construction home in Atlanta during the pandemic. The builder’s agent told her she didn’t need a buyer’s agent.

Fast forward 3 years… her ceiling is falling in, and now we’re back house hunting.

This is one of the biggest regrets I see—trusting the builder’s rep instead of having your own protection.

𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱! I've owed this debt for over a decade now. Paying $50 per month but balance continuously going up. What started as a $3,500 student loan ended up being probably 𝟱𝘅'𝘀 that amount.

See this is what happens when you're young and dumb and just want to see some money in your hands. You make all kinds of foolish decisions that linger for years until you say 𝙁𝙏𝘽𝙎! 𝙄'𝙢 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙡!

That's what I did today... What good does it do to be bank account rich but DEBT BROKE?❣️
That's not wealth. That's not freedom. That's not the life I want.

I'm determined to walk in to 𝟮𝟶𝟮𝟰 𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗧 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘!💰
The only debt I'm willing to welcome is a mortgage debt. Other than that, it has to go! 🏡💕
