We are pleased to welcome Rob Karr to Taylorville today! Rob is the Executive Director of the Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA’).

We have worked closely with Rob and his team on a variety of important business issues for the betterment of local economies and retail businesses, including the “We Are Retail” statewide campaign, and IRMA’s Masterclass series. We serve on the IRMA Research Advisory Committee with other retailers across the state.

We appreciate Rob taking time out of his very busy schedule to come to Taylorville and meet with business owners about our local business economy, our concerns and opportunities.

Retail is an economic powerhouse, contributing $111.6 billion annually to Illinois’ GDP. That’s 11% of the state’s total GDP.
