Many people wonder about the “perfect time” to buy your next home. Concerns about interest rates being higher than they were a couple of years ago and whether home prices will come
down are perfectly natural.

But the truth is over the last 25 years, U.S. home prices have
appreciated at an average annual rate of around 4%. And while interest rates are a little higher than the historical low interest rates we saw a couple of years ago, today’s rates are still below
the 50-year average and refinancing is always an option later if rates do go down.
