Introduction: We opened Capitol Reef RV Resort & Glamping in 2024 — but our connection to this land goes back generations.

We are a small, local and family owned business. We are three sisters who grew up right here, raised on this land with Capitol Reef as our backyard. Our ancestors were among the early settlers of this area, and our parents still ranch nearby today. They had 5 daughters(no sons) and taught us resiliency, connection to community, and strong work ethic by example. You’ll often find them around the clubhouse, chatting with guests over a scoop of ice cream — they love meeting new people as much as they love sharing the stories and heritage of this place.

Opening this resort has been a dream of ours for a long time: a chance to share the land we grew up on with travelers from everywhere, and to give them a true taste of Southern Utah hospitality. Whether you’re passing through for a night or settling in for a longer stay, we hope you leave feeling like you got to experience Capitol Reef the way we always have — through the eyes of a family that’s called it home for generations.

Happy Birthday to our amazing Allyson! ❤️

One of the five Pace daughters, Ally has always been one of those people who makes you wonder, “Is there anything she can’t do?”

From graduating from Stanford and becoming an OB/GYN, to building a beautiful life in San Diego with her husband, Matt Davis, and raising their four amazing kids, remodeling houses, solving just about any tech problem, making elderberry jelly, and being one of the three sisters who built Capitol Reef RV Ranch & Glamping from the ground up—she truly does it all!

But what makes Ally so special isn’t just everything she can do. It’s who she is—smart, kind, hardworking, creative, incredibly capable, and always willing to jump in and help wherever she’s needed.

We are so incredibly lucky to have her as a sister, daughter, wife, mom, friend, and such a huge part of both our family and our business. Life is simply better with you in it, Ally.
