Telluride Properties and Telluride Real Estate Corp. Announce A Merger

Two of the most trusted and longstanding real estate brokerages in Telluride are now one. With over 70 agents with 6 prime locations throughout Telluride and the Mountain Village, the consolidated firms have positioned themselves to provide an even higher level of excellence and professionalism in representing their clientele. The firm will be operating as Telluride Properties and will continue to maintain its membership with Forbes Global Properties, the exclusive real estate partner of Forbes Media.

Telluride Properties was founded in 1986 with offices on Colorado Avenue, at the Gondola Base and in the Town of Mountain Village. Albert Roer and Polly Leach-Lychee Partners at Telluride Properties, LLC state, “Both staffs have embraced this merger and we all look forward to combined and enhanced marketing programs, exploring new markets, enhanced collaboration and exchange of ideas and expertise for facilitation of transactions.”

Founded in 1981, Telluride Real Estate Corp. was established by TD Smith and Ron Allred as a subsidiary of the Telluride Company as the primary marketing arm for what was to become the Telluride Mountain Village. TD Smith relays, “We are enthused with the evolution of this consolidation that heightens our visibility, marketing outreach, knowledge transfer between brokers and the prestige of a firm representing the sales effort for the preeminent Four Seasons project.”

The re-branding will roll out over the next 60 days as the firm moves into the heart of the summer season.
