Tom Ferry's Success Summit was an incredible time this week!! Getting equipped and charged up for all things real estate and honestly, charged up for LIFE. I was with approximately 5,000 other agents from all over the US and even other countries, over the past three days, collaborating and getting inspired. I had the honor of meeting some of the best in the industry.

Being an entrepreneur comes with a lot of rewards and challenges. As a Realtor, we are constantly having to adapt with the changes in the market, technology, and demands that our specific markets require.

Did you know that 87% of Realtors bow out before the five year mark? What a blessing to say that I have been doing this for 15 years now. Yet, I have nowhere near arrived and there is still so much growing to do. I am here for all of it!

I want to be the best version of me for everyone that chooses me to hold their hand through their process, whether it is buying or selling real estate.

Professional evolution is KEY. We can't stay the same. We have to keep on growing. We have to keep on learning. We have to surround ourselves with others who are doing it way better than us. Today, I stopped by to visit one of my clients who just closed escrow on their first home last month. They are mostly settled in now and loving their new home. When I asked them what it was like to make their first mortgage payment, their response made me smile. They said that it felt so good to make that payment knowing that it was going back to them, instead of paying rent to someone else. They understood the value of home ownership. Often times, a mortgage payment is much higher (monthly) than what my clients are used to paying on their monthly rents and that can be quite an adjustment. But the long game yields such high reward. When you pay rent, you are helping someone else build equity and at the end of that rental agreement, there is nothing to show for it. It is true that purchasing a home is not something everyone can do. There are also some seasons where it make sense to rent. However, when you have the ability to purchase something of your own, you should pursue it. I would love to connect and see if buying your own piece of real estate makes the most sense for you right now.

Today, I had a consultation with an awesome family who just got their pre-approval completed with our lending partner !
