EXTREMELY RARE opportunity!!!

Registered 6 year old Half Arabian BUCKSKIN mare by THE LEGENDARY FAME VF out of a qtr horse mare. RCM Good As Gold aka “Goldie”

Been in training with Bill Melendez and Karleigh Farmer for only 4 months. Goldie is great on the trails, has huge potential for the ranch riding division and of course… would be an EXCELLENT broodmare! Passing on her color AND her father, Fame VF pedigree!!!! There is not another Fame VF daughter this young anywhere! Not to mention… she is HUGE!!!!!!!

Final day at Region 2 and more winners were awarded!

This morning Don Bundrock went Reserve Champion in Arabian Western Pleasure 55 and over AAOTR!!!!! This is only the second show Felicity Dancer has been in a bridle and it’s clear this is going to be a dynamic duo for many years!!!! Such an incredible team!!!! Congrats Don!!!!

Both Brent and Diane had good rides as well! It’s great to see them enjoy showing their horses! What it’s all about!

This afternoon we didn’t have any classes. Bill, Payden, Lupe and Karleigh all teared down the barn and packed the trailer! Meanwhile a few of us enjoyed lunch at The Boathouse on the beach!

Finally the evening classes started and some of us had to stick around for Kristal and Khing’s halter classes. (Specifically Bill and the other horses!) lol At least they won a Championship in 1/2 Arabian Gelding Open… roses and a Region 2 sheet!!! Huge congrats to the sponsor those, Nancy O’reilly. They ended up with one final Top Five in the Ammy class… and that was a wrap to a wonderful show!!!!!

I want to thank the show horse photographer, Kelly Kenneally and her assistant who took incredible photos and always captured the moments with perfection! Thank you!!!!!! Can’t wait to see more proofs!!!!!!!!!

To the entire horse show office/staff/volunteers…. You all put on a fantastic show at a great location!!!! We all truly enjoyed our week and this would NOT be possible without you all!!!! So HUGE thanks!!!!!! Xo Thank you to the judges as well!!!!

In conclusion… we have the BEST crew!!!!! Bill, Karleigh, Payden and Lupe… THANK YOU!!!!!!! You all are Facilitors of JOY to all of the clients and the horses!!!! Your excellent care and training of the horses shows through the horses all being so willing to do their jobs. They all looked AMAZING!!!! Thank you all again!!!

To all the clients…. You all are family!!!! Thank you for trusting Bill Meléndez Equine Training with your beloved four legged family members!!! Its truly an honor and a privilege to have each of you in this barn. We sure do have A LOT of fun!!!!! Here’s to continuing to live our best lives!!!!

WOW!!!!!! WHAT A DAY WE HAD!

This day was such a fun day and watching these horses perform and give their hearts… so incredible!!!

This morning Diane Powers (Brent Gilman) on Isabella and Don Bundrock on Felicity Dancer were awarded Top Fives in a big class and both had excellent rides!!! As we say in this barn… Don… “You we’re winning until you weren’t!” LOL

Next up was Karleigh Farmer on “Holly” (owned by Brent and Diane) were champions in BOTH the 1/2 Arabian Ranch Riding Rail and Ranch Riding Jackpot!!!! They scored a 78!!!!!!!!

This evening was my personal highlight (Kristal writing this)… I showed “Khing of Diamonds” and Lisa Giordano-Andre showed her new horse “Love to Dance” in the 1/2 Arabian Western Pleasure AAOTR 19 and over. Well the good news is we were both awarded Top Fives and I was so excited!!!! We both made it! THEN they called her RESERVE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!! My heart flew out of my chest and I had tears of happiness!!!!!! What a great moment to share in the ring with my bestie!!!!!! So proud of Lisa and only owning her horse for 3 weeks and this was their first show together!!!! As I wrote in the post last night…. It was only a matter of time before there wore roses!!!!!

We had a great time at the barn with another wine and cheese party and enjoyed great company!!!! This evening a few of use celebrates Lisa’s big win at Harry’s Cafe! Thanks Anthony!!!!!

Today was the first day of the Regional classes and Bill Melendez started us off with a solid Top Five 1/2 Arabian Open Trail on “Holly”, Owned by Brent Gilman and Diane Powers. This is only her second show in Trail/Working Western and it’s clear she LOVES what she is doing and is being a superstar!

This afternoon Lisa Giordano-Andre and Kristal Raiger had their very first class together! Never have they shown in the same class before… it was always Ryan and Lisa. Kristal and Khing of Diamonds were awarded a Top Five in a very deep class…. Many multi national champions! Lisa and her new gorgeous horse had a great go as well… this is their first show together… it won’t take long before that duo is in the roses!!!!

Later in the afternoon we enjoyed a wine and cheese gathering at the barn. It’s also a great time with laughter and friendship!!!

This evening, Don Bundrock and his beautiful mare, Felicity Dancer competed in Arabian Performance Mares Open and were Reserve Champions! Then they were awarded a Top Five in the ATH class! Next up was Kristal and Khing of Diamonds in the 1/2 Arabian Performance Geldings…. They were Reserve Champions in Open and then Top Ten in ATH. We had a GREAT time and Kristal even had a dancing party for one while they tabulated the scores LOL Thanks Lisa for joining Kristal from the stands 😂😂

We are having a great time and enjoying our horses and friendships!!!!!!! We always have a great time at horse shows… it’s what it’s all about…. FUN!!!!

Region Two is off to a great start! We are having a great time and the horses and clients are having lots so fun!

Don Bundrock and Felicity Dancer winning the Arabian Western pleasure AATR 19 and over

Great rides and other winners include Bill Melendez on “Holly” in the 1/2 Arabian trail open, Brent Gilman on “Red” and Diane Powers on “Bella” in AAOTR 19 and over!

We celebrated at a great dinner this evening hosted by Anthony A. Andre Sr. 🥰
