Please don’t get sucked into these disastrous propositions…..

Prop 2’s 10 billion dollar bond for schools will cost 350 billion dollars over 35 years to pay back…. There is no mention how these contracts will be awarded.

Prop 4’s 10 billion dollar bond for for a hodge pudge of water, wildfire prevention, and fire protection will cost 400 billion dollars over 40 years to pay back… There is no mention how these contracts will be awarded.

Prop 5 would gut proposition 13.. That would likely mean a significant jump in your already hefty property taxes…

Other than propositions 34 and 36 the remaining propositions would be a total disaster so make sure to vote no..

Politicians must stop bundling propositions to hide the fiscal calamity they are trying to force onto the citizens of CA. It is time they are forced to live within CA financial means and reduce the deficit….

It’s a wrap

After 18 years of climbing into attics, crawling around in crawl spaces, and trying not to fall off of rooftops, I have decided to call it a career. To say that I have enjoyed being a home inspector would be an understatement. I am fortunate to have met great people, made wonderful friends, shared in life’s events, and assisted clients with their purchasing decision.

I am off to the next chapter of life traveling, cycling, hiking, and generally enjoying what life has to offer. That said there is always a project to handle around the house or a great book to read. Did you know Ian Fleming, the author of the James Bond legacy, also wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? Who knew…

Thanks again for all of your support over the past 18 years, I couldn’t have done it without you. The memories, camaraderie, shenanigans, and time spent doing inspections will be missed. I am always here for you should you have any questions regarding something on an inspection report. Wishing you nothing but continued success in your lives and careers.

Always watch children when they’re in or near water, and never leave them unattended. Designate an official Water Watcher, an adult tasked with supervising children in the water. That should be their only task – they shouldn’t be reading...

So while doing an inspection the other day there was a heavy gas smell when I opened the attic access. I notified the agent, let her know I suspected it was at the valve, and that the gas company would likely take care of it. Love her reply text.....

Gas leak taken care of! They didn't use plumber tape or liquid on the threaded end of the line. Scary. Thank you for checking it out! Always get a home inspection!

Did I mention that I really enjoy working with great people..
