I was originally licensed in 2003 when I still lived in North San Diego County. I moved my family up to Murrieta in 2009 where I worked with Warburton Properties until 2015. In 2015 I branched out to ERA Jousting Real Estate where I am currently excited to continue helping people fulfill the American Dream of Home-Ownership. I graduated from the University of Sunderland in the North East of England in 2001 and was educated in England for my high school years as well. (No, I don't have the accent anymore!) I am a mother of two handsome boys, wife to one amazing man and friend to some pretty special human beings that I am thankful for. I am actively involved at Cornerstone Community Church here in town. There are some local spots that simply become part of your routine, and for our family, TK’s Donuts is one of them.

This is our go-to donut shop in West Murrieta, and whenever I’m hosting one of our community yard sales, this is where the donuts come from!

TK’s is a family-owned, traditional neighborhood donut shop with all the classics: glazed, jelly-filled, Bavarian cream, old-fashioned donuts, and, of course, the ham and cheese croissants that are a favorite in our house. 🍩🥐☕

The family that owns TK’s has been here for 10 years and has been in the donut business for 20. I love getting to highlight businesses like this that have become part of the fabric of our local community.

🍂 Even though it’s still SO hot outside, I am officially trying to summon cooler weather with this room.

Because a fireplace in the primary bedroom?! Sheesh. Imagine an actual chilly night, climbing into bed and falling asleep with a warm fire going. Yes please.

🔥 The stone fireplace wall
🤎 The traditional molding around the firebox
👀 Those vaulted, paneled ceilings
🪟 Floor-to-ceiling curtains paired with blackout shades because clearly we’re DONE with the hot sun
🪑 A bench at the foot of the bed to sit and enjoy the fire
🌿 And not a TV in sight

I also love the little desk tucked against the windows, but I think I’d swap it for a low bookshelf under the window with a few plants on top. Give me books, greenery and a fire and I’m good.

And the door leading outside? Even better. I’m imagining stepping straight out to a pool or spa, or maybe a little private garden area made for slow mornings with coffee or tea before the day begins.

The fireplace is such a beautiful focal point on its own, but it also leaves plenty of room to change things up seasonally. Greenery across the mantel, stockings during the holidays, or keeping it simple and letting the stone and an oversized mirror speak for themselves.

🍁 Now if Temecula Valley could get the memo that it’s September and give us some fireplace weather, that would be great.

About an hour and a half away, Julian is one of the easiest nearby mountain towns from Temecula for a day away or a quick weekend. And fall might be the best time to make the drive.

🍎 Pick apples at a U-Pick orchard
⛏️ Head underground at Eagle Mining Co.
🐺 Visit wolves, foxes + other canids
🥾 Spend a few hours on the trails
🍕 Grab BBQ, pizza, craft b**r + local c***r
🥧 And obviously, get the pie

Save this one for the next time you’re looking for a mini vacation near Temecula or something different to do this autumn in Southern California.

You don’t have to be ready to buy or sell a home to start asking questions.

In fact, I’d rather you start asking them before you’re ready.

What does buying a home actually look like in today’s market? Is now a good time to sell, or would waiting make more sense? What should we be doing now if we’re hoping to move next year? What’s changed since the last time we bought or sold?

These are the conversations I love having.

A consultation isn’t about convincing you to make a move. It’s about sitting down, talking through what you’re trying to accomplish, what matters most to you, and what questions you have.

Then we look at the information together and figure out what makes sense.

Maybe the answer is now. Maybe it’s a year from now. Maybe there are a few things you need to put in place first.

Either way, you walk away with more clarity, a better understanding of your options, and a plan for what comes next.
