Thanks to all the neighbors who came out to GAIN in the park. We hope you had a great time!

Besides the scheduled activities, we had a drone demonstration and a visit from a police cruiser. The kids could see inside and go inside.

We got a lot of positive feedback on the band, The Believers. If you are interested in hiring the band for parties and events, we can share the manager’s number. Just PM!

Today’s the day! Head over to the park at 3 pm if you want to join the free yoga class by neighbor Leah Barkley. Or come at 4 pm to hear (and dance to?) the band, play a ring toss game (prizes for kids while supplies last), decorate your bike for 4:45 pm bike parade and meet neighbors! Face painting and balloon twisting for kids, other booths to explore!

Door prize drawings for three great prizes - $100 gift card, $25 gift card and yoga package from neighbor Laurie Peterson) open to each adult who attends. Drawing will be after the short business meeting and election following the bike parade. Music and event ends at 6 pm. Thanks to sponsors Michael Bell with CMG and Nick Bastian with Realty Executives and South Tempe Style!

Remember to bring any non-perishable food you can spare for the Tempe Community Action Agency pantry. We hope to see you at the park!

Our annual neighborhood party in the park is this Saturday! Free yoga class with neighbor Leah Barkley at 3 pm (SE of playground).

Main event 4 pm - 6 pm. Free face painting and balloon twisting. Bring your bike and decorate it at the bike decorating table for the bike parade. Or come and dance to the band that will play approximately 4-4:45 pm and 5:15 pm to 6 pm. At about 4:45 pm we'll have our bike parade and our short annual meeting with election of officers. Door prize drawings will be included!

We can't wait to see you in the park! Remember to bring some non-perishable food (no glass) to donate to the TCAA food pantry. Needed now more than ever!

Kris and Dan lived in Estate La Colina for many years. Kris was a big supporter of community events such as the neighborhood garage sale, GAIN and music in the park. She took thousands of photos of Corona del Sol sports events. We will miss her big smile and words of kindness!
