We would like to announce the position of Chamber of Commerce Liaison has been filled! Please help us in welcoming Latana Franks, she has excitedly accepted this position and is ready to serve as a voice for her community.
Latana Franks is a lifelong Gatesville resident who cherishes the enriched history of her hometown. She had the privilege of attending Gatesville school district and is still proud to be a Hornet, she was a substitute teacher when schools opened after the pandemic to aid Gatesville ISD through some difficult times. She feels blessed to be a part of such a tight-knit loving society. Throughout the years she has watched her small town come together through difficult times, through unity Gatesville has always proven to be an overcomer through adversities. Latana has a true servant’s heart and is passionate about supporting locals and promoting the City of Gatesville. Her roots are deeply in faith being a member of Grace Assembly Christian Church for over 20 years. Serving in many ministries over the years such as children’s ministry, praise and worship, assistant administrator, and media team. Latana loves opening her heart to higher purpose for the benefits of helping others and making positive impacts on others’ lives. Her heart for people led her into real estate helping families find the community they want to grow roots in. She is currently an agent with Elevate Texas Real Estate. One of her greatest passions is serving on the F.I.R.E board. F.I.R.E. stands for Faith in Real Estate and was founded by her team lead Nichole Jack Johnson, the ministry was created through the planning and hard work by several believers including Latana to bring faith-minded people in the real estate industries together and show support and that they can have faith in their business. She and her husband of almost ten years Travis Franks also have a Drone photography business that they enjoy working together. She is a proud mother of four children who she loves to volunteer for, to coach or support in the crowds at their events. Her children are her pride and joy and will forever be her greatest blessings. With her knowledge of the city of Gatesville not just through being a member of our community but also through volunteering in numerous organizations and her servitude as an ambassador makes her the perfect candidate. We feel she will be a great asset as the new Chamber of Commerce Liaison, growing business and building community!
