Well this is a little surreal… and honestly pretty funny.

Somehow this girl who spends most days in boots, driving dirt roads, chasing down well reports, opening gates, and answering calls from the carpool line just landed Bronze for Best Real Estate Agent on the Central Coast in The Tribune’s Best of 2026.

Closing the year with gratitude 🤍

These buyers reached out after inquiring on one of my vacant land listings, which was priced under $200K. During our very first call, he thanked me profusely just for returning his call. He shared that no one else was calling him back, and that he felt like he wasn’t being taken seriously or given the time of day. I could hear the discouragement in his voice.

We spent time talking it through, and together realized that building from the ground up would likely be a long, stressful road for his family. An existing home would give them what they wanted without years of uncertainty. I was honest with him and let him know it might take time, but I promised that if he stayed patient, we would find the right fit.

What many people didn’t know — and what led others to underestimate him — is that once we shifted gears, his lender confirmed they were preapproved up to $1.2M. Because he had been reaching out on vacant land around the $200K range, assumptions were made. All it really took was someone willing to listen, walk the process with him, and truly support him 🤝

And then… the part that still makes me smile 😭✨
Against all odds, it took only TWO showings — and on the second one, his wife knew instantly. We both looked at each other like, “Wait… is this really happening?” This was the home she had been waiting for 🏡🤍

At our final walkthrough, she was in tears and looked at me and said,
“I never thought I’d be living in such a beautiful home.”
