Reunited before the STORM🌨️…

Got treated to TWO meals today. Lunch was filled with Korean delights. A past agent who is no longer an active agent…continues to be a FRIEND. Love catching up with her…always feels as though we are continuing on after where we left off. Went on for hours.❤️

Dinner was another treat. Spanish food was on the menu…from grilled squid, seafood paella, sangria, dessert, and a shot of whiskey. Yummy food filled my tummy, but our conversation filled my soul. We went down memory lane and l shared how she was an inspiration and continues to be. She shared her journey and story of victory. I felt safe…and proceeded share my life story.

Sharing is caring…but tonight, it solidified a friendship…and I am forever grateful.😍

Felt blessed this day…and now may the SNOW STORM begin😇 (not too much please)…hehe

I had him at “HELLO”🤗…

I was introduced to his family by a dear agent friend. The husband had a bad experience in the past with real estate.
He wasn’t too keen on moving forward in the beginning.

But…when we met, he was sooo kind and too TRUSTING. He was a breath of fresh air, but I still felt that TRUST needed to be earned. He was so ready and willing to sign any doc that was handed to him even before I can explain.

So often would he say “I TRUST YOU”. And so often would I reply, “DON’T TRUST ME YET”…hehe

It was such a pleasure working with them. I was so thankful for their TRUST…and I so admired his commitment to his family.❤️❤️❤️

Constantly training?🤔…

Treated to a free cup of coffee at the gym this morn. What a treat! They were prepping for some type of seminar. Beyond coaching individuals, they also coach and present to their industry which is awesome.

I had experienced the similar at my company yesterday where the leadership had gathered for an all-day training workshop. In order for us to serve our agents, we needed a health check of our organization. This was my first and it was awesome.

We had to prep ourselves with reading two books and being open minded to what was to come. Vulnerability was needed to embrace the moment and humility had to be present to face our reality.

You know I like to CRY…and boy did I cry…as each member of our staff shared, the more tears I began to shed. When it was my turn to share…I SHARED. I let my guard down and FELT SAFE.❤️

Our staff is on the route of re-building. To build a house, a STRONG foundation is required. I felt we did that yesterday as a group. We aren’t a staff of people contained by office politics…we are people wanting to go above and beyond for those in our care…and that so aligns with WHO I AM. Amen😇

This is where most of my weekdays begin at 7:15am💪🏻…

Morning routines are never the same and today was “Partner Up”. This is when the coach picks two people to work out together from start to finish. While one does one thing, the other is doing another until both tasks are completed at the same time. That’s a lot of pressure if one is slower than the other. I confess…I am usually the slow one when it comes to cardio 😞.

These type of sessions remind me of gym class back in the day. Do you remember those moments when two kids were chosen to be captains and each would pick and choose who would be on their team? That was brutal. I was always the fat kid who was chosen last or close to last…ugh. That took a toll on a young mind…not in a positive way, that’s for sure.

But today…I was chosen first prior to the coach’s choice. I quietly voiced how I’m not crazy about these type of routines and he heard me. He then said, “Let’s be partners”. I was like ok. But…the coach was pairing people up and while she continued…he interjected and shared we’re partnering up. She looked surprised for we were an unlikely pair at the time…hehe. I was thankful.

The sky appears so cloudy, but my mind feels so accomplished by one kind gesture. This was one heck of a “the last shall be first” moment for me. ❤️. Got to share this type of “pay it forward” kind of feeling unto others this day and everyday. FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, I SAY.😉

Celebrating life this day…

She is never the one to make a big deal about her special day. She was even too stubborn to share what day it was…literally “pulling teeth”.

Ultimately, she was happy and grateful. The food and service were excellent…and oddly we were the only ones there.

Quality time with a friend was a blessing, but…it was still a work day. Due to timing, I made her accompany me to showings up in Rockland County…hehe. She didn’t mind for the day was so picture perfect and the ride, with Spotify, was an added bonus.

Got to meet a lovely young couple looking for their first home…and the connection of a working relationship was made.

T’was FEEL GOOD kind of day…feelin’ blessed.😇

After my morning workout and wake up call, I have been gifted these😳…

People have been so kind and so generous here. Grateful to be remembered this holiday season.❤️. This is just one out of many gifts…feeling very spoiled.

The “last” shall be “first”, they say🤔…

Most women look so cute in their workout wear. ME?…I just schlep out of bed and try to make sure my knees are well padded. The older I get the weaker I become…the knees, the ankles, etc, etc. The longer I am on my fitness journey…the more armored I may have to be…hehe

Got a reality check at my routine 7:15am this morn…we had to pull our body weight back and forth for 5X. The weight of each member was so easily exposed, but there was no judgment, only encouragement.

I did not allow shame nor embarrassment detour me from the task at hand. Others were passing me and completing the task much faster than I. I kept at it slow and steady like the “little engine that could”.

A rude awakening, but a task that needed to be. Wasn’t able to finish all of the rounds like I usually do…but still felt accomplished for I was able to face the shame of my weight with victory.💪🏻

Results don’t happen miraculously, but it takes work and commitment. This is my struggle, but no longer my shame.

Starting the day off on a positive note..:makes me joyful. If I feel the joy, I can also look forward to spreading the joy. Positive attitude and a smile is how I will LIVE this day. God Bless to ALL😇
