Are you ready for the holidays?
Temperatures are falling and the leaves are changing bringing the certainty of holiday get-togethers. Prepare your home for holiday visitors early so you don’t stress out at the last minute. Use these tips:

1. A well-dressed bed is key to being a good host. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg for new bedding; scour the clearance section of any department store for good deals and pair them up with a coupon for extra savings.

2. A sweet smelling home just makes you feel cozy! Make your own holiday scents by simmering cinnamon, cloves and orange peels together in a pot with some water on low heat. Your visitors will never want to leave.

3. Don’t forget to entertain your guests. Have games on hand like Life, Monopoly, Cards and anything else to keep them amused.

4. The most important thing is to plan your menu for the duration ahead of time. The holidays are time for all your favorite family recipes. Write down a menu for each day so you can stock up on items you know you’ll need. Make some items ahead and freeze them for super easy preparation.
