I hate seeing these when I am on an inspection. Federal Pacific Stab-Loc circuit breakers. They were introduced in the 50's and installed until 1980. Many did not meet UL compliance and for whatever reason were used extensively resulting in house fires.

If you are a realtor and showing, or even listing houses built during these dates, it is easy to identify with the red breakers and have the opportunity to discuss with your buyers and sellers, before the inspection report. It is best to have the panel replaced. Plus you look like a pro if you can call it out.
