⚠️ Trails Edge Apartments Severe Weather Alert: Tornado Safety Prep ⚠️
With severe weather in the forecast, the safety of our residents is our top priority. Please review these crucial steps to prepare for a potential tornado warning:
1. Know Your Safe Place 🛡️
Best: Common hallways, laundry rooms, or storage areas on the lowest level.
Alternative: First-floor interior hallways, stairwells, or a windowless bathroom/closet in your unit.
Never: Stay in upper-floor of the townhouses or near windows/outside walls.
2. Secure Your Unit 🏠
Bring all balcony furniture, potted plants, and decorations inside immediately to prevent flying debris.
3. Prepare a "Safe Zone" Kit 🎒
Bring helmets (bicycle/motorcycle), heavy blankets, or pillows to your designated safe area to protect your head.
4. Keep flashlights, chargers, and a battery-powered radio handy.
5. Make sure cellphones are fully charged incase of power loss.
6. Stay Informed 📢 Enable emergency alerts on your phone and follow local, trusted weather stations for real-time updates.
