Texarkana is the community that my family has called home for many years, and I hope to help you make it your home as well. Saturday homeowner tip: do you know where your main water shut-off valve is? 🔧

If a pipe bursts or the water heater starts leaking, every minute counts. Take five minutes this weekend to find yours (it's often near the water meter, in the garage, a utility closet, or the crawl space), make sure it actually turns, and show everyone in the house how to use it. While you're at it, label your breaker panel so nobody's guessing in the dark.

It's a small job that matters more as cold weather gets closer, whether you're in Texarkana, Texas (Bowie County) or Texarkana, Arkansas (Miller County).
