Sun protection is important at all times of the year, but it's especially important in summer. Some of the best ways to protect yourself from the sun include wearing sunscreen and protective clothing, seeking shade whenever possible and limiting your time outdoors when the sun is strongest (between 11am and 3pm). If you're going to be outside on an especially sunny day, make sure that you're drinking plenty of water so you don't get dehydrated or overheated. Protecting yourself from sun damage doesn't have to mean sitting inside all summer long!
