One of my favorite things about our KW culture? We show up for each other. ❤️

A few Saturdays ago, I joined fellow KW agent Rita Moreno for her first Right Moves Mindset Meetup at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle, a 1-mile walk, jog or run. 🏃🏽‍♀️

And Rita did her THING! 👏🏽 From the registration and music to trail markers, goodies, photos, snacks, water AND already being at the finish line cheering everyone on. You could see how intentional she was about the entire experience.

But my favorite part? Seeing her family, friends and fellow KW agents show up to support something SHE created. 🫶🏽

I came to support another agent (and y’all know I love a good event 😂), but that mile was also exactly what I needed to start getting myself back on track with my own goals.

That’s the kind of culture I value: build your own business and brand, but don’t build it alone.

Some closings celebrate where you’re going. This one also reminded me of where I came from. 🥹🏡🔑

Closing at Briarwood Organization’s office in Queens brought back so many memories of my mother’s decades of work alongside mission-aligned developers, HPD, and NYC’s affordable homeownership movement.

I grew up watching that work. Today, I get to build on that legacy through Moravilla and I’m putting this BIG goal into the universe:

✨ More affordable homeownership opportunities throughout NYC.
✨ More education, access & representation for our communities.
✨ And one day, Moravilla will serve as the exclusive marketing agent, helping bring those developments to market.

Manifesting it? ABSOLUTELY. But also working toward it. 🙏🏽

And none of this happens without the people who trust us with their next chapter.

Behind these 23 seconds: sorting boxes, cataloging donations, creating content, packing everything, moving it into storage, unpacking AGAIN, and even taking your cash donations directly to Staples to purchase more supplies.

And we'd happily do it all again. ❤️

We started with a goal of 50 backpacks. Our community helped turn it into 100. ❤️🎒

That's what we're celebrating this Thankful Tuesday.

A huge thank you to Ozzy and Moving Elites for believing in this initiative from the beginning and donating our first 50 backpacks.

Then Hector Rivera, El Rey del 2026 Bronx Puerto Rican Culture Pageant and fellow community leader, helped connect us with Boriken Health and Giving Friends to secure another 50.

And somewhere along the way, this fundraiser grew into more than Olga, our teams, and I could have ever imagined.

Our community donated supplies, shared our posts, made introductions, and kept finding new ways to help until we literally outgrew Moravilla Headquarters! 😂

And once again, Ozzy stepped in, offering us space at Moving Elites to store everything.

That's what community collaboration looks like.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝗘𝗢 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱.

There have been incredible wins, but also pivots, mistakes, difficult seasons, and moments when I had to figure out how to rebuild.

The last three years in particular have been my comeback season.

But rebuilding taught me something important: 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘁𝗼𝗼.

That means developing our team, expanding our bilingual education and community programming, strengthening our Resource Hub, creating new partnerships and exploring new opportunities for Moravilla to grow.

And we’re still figuring some of it out as we go. That’s part of becoming a CEO, too.
