Taconic Partners and Clarion Venture Partners hosted a Press Conference at its Eastchester Heights Complex in the Bronx to Celebrate Community Action Day! 😃

In seeking to celebrate the importance of building strong, positive communities, Taconic worked with Debra Simon Art Consulting and visual artist Pamella Allen, to develop and execute a two-day initiative that first brought participants together to create imagery, symbols, silhouettes, and words that reflect themselves and the community. 🖌

Halloween was celebrated this year at Eastchester Heights where children and adults had the chance to safely gather and dress up in costumes for a costume fashion show at our park. There was lots of candy to give around, games, and music to allow for a great time. Special appearances were made by Hon. Speaker Carl Heastie and his entire staff, the Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., the candidates for the District 12 Council seat, and two Supreme Court Judges Topia Fernandez and John Rodriguez. The event was hosted and organized by Johnnie Goff, who is the CEPBA Founder and President of JADE School. We thank everyone who took part in participating and organizing the event!

Eastchester Heights is proud to have been a sponsor of The Breast Cancer Awareness walk on Sunday, October 25, 2020 held at the Eastchester Heights park. The walk was hosted by the organization A Day in the Pink and social distancing guidelines were practiced. All donations were contributed to a children's cancer organization. We thank A Day in the Pink, Johnnie Goff who is the CEPBA Founder and President of JADE School, and everyone who was a part of organizing and participating. The walk went great!

Every year for the last three years, Eastchester Heights has participated in the annual Make Music NY celebration. And we have brought live music to the community. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Make Music NY will not be providing musical events throughout the city. However, they are still providing music mainly on-line. So if you have a chance to join the celebration on June 21, tune in and enjoy the sounds on-line.
