Hello

I AM FUMING. The contractor put smooth mud right next to my existing textured walls and said he would "blend it later." BLEND IT?!. You can’t blend perfection! I told him he has effectively destroyed the historical integrity of my home’s interior design. I’m suing for "aesthetic vandalism" and demanding he re-drywall the entire house so it all matches. Am I overreacting??

Hello

I hired a plumber to fix a leak and he left my ceiling looking like this !! He told me 'I turn wrenches, I don't slap mud' and that closing the hole is my problem? Excuse me? You opened it, you close it! I am refusing to pay his $600 invoice until this is smooth and painted. Am I the bad guy here??

Hello

My contractor said he was "finished" for the day but he left these white vertical stripes everywhere. Is this a scam? It looks like a zebra! I told him I’d meet him here because a normal person would have painted these "scratches" invisible by now instead of trying to charge me a "taping" fee! I feel like he’s just dragging out the job to charge for more hours. Am I overreacting??

A contractor quoted me $1,500 to "re-sheet" this ceiling. Are you smoking something? You’re just screwing boards into other boards—it’s literally like playing with Legos. I told him I’d give him $15 an hour and he should be grateful I’m providing the ladder. He looked at me like I was crazy. Labor is unskilled work, people! Am I overreacting??
