Memorial Day is not about politics. It's about sacrifice.
Today, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. They didn't make the ultimate sacrifice for a political party, an election, or a debate on social media.
They served alongside Americans from different backgrounds, beliefs, and viewpoints, united by a common purpose greater than themselves. They gave everything so that all of us could enjoy the freedoms we have today.
As we remember those who never came home, let's set aside the political divisions, the arguments, and the grievances of years past. Today is about gratitude, respect, and honoring those who paid the highest price for our nation.
May we never forget their courage, their service, and their sacrifice.
