Just a little note from my Mortgage Guy…

Good afternoon my Realtor friend. It’s been one of the craziest weeks in my 40-year mortgage history.

Interest rates jumped approximately 1% since Tuesday. The spoken word and political commentary were the culprits. No economic data was presented, just commentary…

This being the case I do expect rates to settle back down a bit, but I have no idea if they will get back down to Monday’s levels anytime soon.

In case you want to see where rates are today, you’ll have to open them on your own, I didn’t have the heart to display them in this note today.


Still a high note though: I have Second home money on a 7-Year ARM at 6.25% charging 1 point. So we’ve got that going for us 😊
