Being a new home buyer can be intimidating! I absolutely understand that - after many years in this industry here are some of my top tips!

1. Don’t wait for the market to be perfect! I know right now the market is a little crazy, but with the right tools & knowledge you will find the right home! If you wait for things to go down or become perfect, you may miss your opportunity! We have no idea of this is going to go down anytime soon. If anything tension is rising, now is definitely the time 🙌🏻

2. Make a list of things you want in your dream home, and then make a list of those things you can live without! Your first home ✨probably✨ won’t check every single box on your list so it’s best to go in with realistic expectations. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t find a home within budget to check off most of them!

3. Get preapproved!!! Why? Well for one it speeds up the process of home buying when you are ready to say yes to a home. In this market it’s essential! You also want to know what you can spend and what you can afford! The last thing you want to do is fall in love with a home you can’t even buy.

4. Before you go view a house go take a
drive around the neighborhood. Go check out the neighbors- see the area. Checkout the school district things like that. Know the area first and decide if it’s somewhere you’d even want to be!

5. Don't let the market scare vou into
buying a home you don't want, but be
aware of the state of the market. Homes
are going fast! I know it can be easy to let the market sway you into making a quick decision or even holding back, but try to think about the home you’re considering without that in mind. If it’s the home for you, it will happen!!!!
