If you're ever making the run between Houston and the Gulf Coast, the Lafayette exit off I-10 is non-negotiable. 🦐

Olde Tyme Grocery on W. Saint Mary Blvd has been serving legendary po'boys since 1982 — and that fried shrimp po'boy is worth every single minute of the detour. Red-checkered floors, neon signs, decades of Saints memorabilia on the walls, and a counter that moves like it's been doing this forever (because it has).

Nearly 20 years ago, I was invited to see a Real Life Real Music Songwriters Series at the Dosey Doe - The Big Barn. That night created a cool appreciation for this place. I have seen some amazing artists through the years, and watched the Barn become one of the most Iconic buildings in The Woodlands.

As we start our journey with LIVIN.in, I wanted to have Dosey Doe featured as one of our first stories on our Website. Love to share a little story about this place with you!! We will have more stories about the barn coming down the road!
