What do my clients in Harris County think about this? It equates to about $200 increase per homeowner for an average priced home. Harris County commissioners voted 3-2 Tuesday to adopt a combined property tax rate of 67 cents per $100 in taxable value, the highest county rate in modern history, as officials address a projected budget deficit of more than $180 million.
