The Most Influential Life Ever Lived
History offers many powerful men, many brilliant minds, many conquerors, reformers, rulers, and visionaries. But power is not the same as authority, brilliance is not the same as wisdom, and influence is not always evidence of truth. Some men shape history through force. Others dominate by fear. Still others seize a moment and disappear with it. That kind of influence may be dramatic, but it is rarely clean, and it is almost never permanent.
Two thousand years ago, a man lived whose influence has proven altogether different.
His life did not depend on force, yet it reshaped power.
It did not rely on status, yet it redefined authority.
It did not seek control, yet it transformed how human beings understand truth, forgiveness, responsibility, and purpose.
No individual has shaped the moral structure of the world more deeply or more enduringly.
His name was Jesus.
