Wear your favorite costume and bring the kids for treats, fun and community. The event will be held inside and in the parking lot, and no registration is required.

City of Thornton, Colorado Government's fresh food box pickups are at Community Connections (9471 Dorothy Blvd) on the third Friday of every month through October 2026. Distributions run from 9 - 10:30 a.m., offering free boxes of locally grown produce plus access to community resources. Reservations are required and open two weeks before each distribution on a first-come, first-served basis.

Colorado's popular e-bike rebate program is returning, offering $1,000 discounts to more than 2,800 income-qualified residents over the next year. To qualify, Coloradans must earn up to $80,640 for a single person or up to $115,200 for a family of four. Applicants can also stack an additional $300 discount for a cargo e-bike or adaptive e-bike, and the rebate can be combined with the state's existing e-bike tax credit.

Interested members can enter the lottery for a chance at the rebate during the first application window, open from 11 a.m. on August 24 to noon on August 31, with new windows opening each quarter.
