In light of the approaching storms, the Association has made the following preparations:
• The management company maintains a 24/7 emergency service number that you will be directed to if you contact their office (888-884-8490) after hours. In the event of a true emergency, please be sure to call 911 first
• The landscapers will be at the property on Friday to remove leaves from around the storm drains in Brent Court to ensure best drainage
• The landscapers are on standby in the event of emergencies such as fallen trees
• The underground drainage system has been cleaned to minimize flooding on the property
We suggest that you as owners make the following preparations:
• Secure any belongings that are outside to avoid them blowing away and causing damage. This includes patio furniture, grills, bikes, children’s toys and more
• Create a disaster supply kit including water, food and snacks, flashlights and batteries and personal hygiene supplies.
• Ensure that sump pumps are working and make arrangements for back up power such as battery back up or a generator.

Please Note:
Despite the fact that the Association has made repairs to the drainage system to avoid any flooding, this will be the first time that the repairs are really tested by a large storm. Water removal from the property is also strongly influenced by the tidal patterns. Any owner who lives, or parks his or her vehicle, in an area of Stone’s Throw Condominium Association that has previously flooded, is urged to park in another location; please make arrangements to do so. This may include parking in visitors spots in other areas of your court, other courts, or parking outside of Stone’s Throw Condominium Association.
