We're happy to let you all know that we are opening the Generals Highway today between Hospital Rock and the Lower Sherman parking lot! This means that the Giant Forest will be accessible up to the General Sherman Tree. Wolverton Road will NOT be accessible today but we expect that it will be tomorrow. The Giant Forest will be open through Monday, 1/24.

Tire chains are required to visit the Giant Forest. For the most up-to-date road conditions, call (559) 565 3341, dial 1, and then dial 1 again.

May20th: It looks like Sequoia National Park is poised to re-open! Word is the end of this month. We will be ready to accept guests, and are meticulous about our cleaning regimen. We hope to see you this summer!

It’s winter of 2019. Our slow season, and also slow for Sequoia. There is lots of snow in the park, and it’s a great time to visit without the crowds. Look for special rate through February!

After making our cottage available on AirBNB and VRBO as a vacation rental in the fall of last year, we are now experienced owners and off to an excellent start. We've greeted several dozen guests and their families so far, and have received 5 Star ratings across the board! Here are some comments:
