The local real estate market is heavy on home inventory but also, fewer buyers than last year. Many sellers are getting below asking price, and the average days on the market is 60 + days or longer to get a contract.

I'm still offering only 1.75% commission to sellers and $1,000 closing credit to buyers.

Many lenders are now offering all types of incentives for home loans.

Latest Real Estate Marketplace Facts for our area.

Frederick County currently has 532 homes for sale, for comparison this past winter and spring there were about 300 listings on the market each month. 2,023 homes have sold so far this year.

Washington County currently has 321 listings for sale, compared to this past spring when it was about 180 each month. 905 homes have sold this year.
