The 30-year fixed rate on a $500,000 loan with 80% LTV and 720 fico went down from 6.875% to 6.375% this morning on the expected Fed rate cut tomorrow and Wall Street fears of anticipating a future economic slowdown.

The average rate on a standard 30-year fixed $500,000 loan with 720 FICO just went down from 6.875% to 6.625%. Not much, but going in the right direction.

Looking forward to my new website in the making! Out with the old, and in with the new. And what will happen to our nearly dead real estate market in the Bay Area now that rates are slowing going down, the old commission structure (that I have been against since becoming an independent broker since 2002) has been blown to bits, and Trump is in promising less regulations? How many basis points will the Fed lower rates this coming week? All I know is that the standard 30-year fixed conforming rate crept back up from 6% a few weeks ago to 6.875% yesterday. The only real estate business I've done since the raise in rates is landscape my backyard, LOL!

I suggest everyone go to this familysearch.org run by the Mormons to discover more about your own roots. DNA testing has changed the playing field since my parents started a family tree years ago and only got back to the time we came to America.

The Lighthouse Bar & Grill is warm, sits on the water with 180 degree views of Tiburon hills and bay, has a great dance floor and great food, too. Oh, and a killer band is playing there on Friday night. Almost forgot that, LOL!
