Over the past two weeks, we have become aware of multiple instances of rental fraud in our area. This includes situations where individuals have shown up at properties that were falsely advertised by someone who was not authorized to list them.

To help protect yourself:

✔️ Verify who you are communicating with before sending any information or payment
✔️ Never send money, deposits, or application fees without confirming legitimacy
✔️ Be cautious of listings that seem unusually low-priced or urgent
✔️ Confirm property ownership and contact information directly with the company or property manager
✔️ Avoid communicating solely through social media messaging
✔️ Never provide personal or financial information without verification
✔️ If something feels suspicious, trust your instincts and double-check before proceeding

If you are interested in one of our properties, please contact our office directly by phone, email, or stop by in-person to verify information before submitting an application or sending any payments.

For security purposes, we do not send applications through Facebook Messenger or post listings on Facebook Marketplace.

We encourage everyone to do their research and remain cautious of online scams and fraudulent listings.
