5th Most Dog Friendly City in the US is... Tigard!

That's right... Tigard nabbed the fifth spot in Money magazine's top 10 best places to live for dog lovers.
"Most of the parks are open to dogs as long as they’re on a leash, but Tigard also has three off-leash dog parks: Summerlake within Summerlake City Park, Ash Avenue, and (the largest) Potso. In downtown Tigard, the streets are walkable and filled with even more dog-friendly restaurants and venues."

Snowman Scavenger Hunt Snowman Scavenger Hunt

Snow much fun! Join Parks & Rec for the 3rd Annual Snowman Scavenger Hunt around Summerlake Park (11450 SW Winterlake Drive).

How to play:

Use the clues to help you find the hiding snowmen at Summerlake Park in Tigard. (Dec 14-31)
Take a picture/selfie with all 5 snowmen posters in their hiding spots. REMEMBER DO NOT MOVE SNOWMEN.
After you have taken selfies with all 5 SNOWMEN, submit them to [email protected] for a chance to win a prize (1 prize box per household).

I am made of wood and nails, I connect to Summerlake trails. Pedestrians use me to avoid getting wet.
Where is Snowman 2 hiding?
One of my favorite things is to run around a park. If I’m unhappy then you might hear me bark.
Where is Snowman 3 hiding?
A sport with love and service played by singles and pairs.
Where is Snowman 4 hiding?
Up, Up, Up to the top. When you sit on me you will have a fun drop.
Where is Snowman 5 hiding?
Just sit on this and you’ll go high. Kick your legs to help you fly.
