Well the holiday season is upon us, and I am sure there are some folks out there who are nervous and anxious about the preparation and presentation of the fare they will be providing their guests. No need to fear! Before I became a realtor, I was a chef for over 30 years. So if you need some guidance, a recipe or would just want to discuss your offering, please feel free to contact me. Happy Friday My Friends,
There is a saying in real estate, "date the rate and marry the house". Now more than ever, this saying is very important. Clients should realize that even though interest rates are going up, home prices are stabilizing and we are getting into a buyers market. This allows a realtor to have more negotiating power with sellers and they are more willing to offer incentives to buy their home. This is still a great time to purchase a home and build your self wealth. Why give a landlord your hard earned money, when you can invest in yourself. Moreover, once the rates begin to fall you can always refinance to a lower rate and put even more money in your pocket.

Do you think avoiding a difficult conversation is worth it? The benefits of having the discussion far outweigh the uncomfortable feelings. For instance, one benefit is that misunderstandings can be clarified and get cleared up. Second, the communication creates closeness and strengthens a relationship. In addition, instead of allowing a tough talk fester, move towards closure. Lastly, having these conversations instills confidence and is a great mood booster. So, instead of procrastinating difficult conversations, embrace them and use them to your advantage!
