ENOUGH IS ENOUGH-JUSTICE FOR BLU AND EVERY SINGLE VOICELESS DOG.
I'm speaking out because silence is exactly what allows this to continue. I pledged to help a dog named Blu @ DeVore Animal Shelter in San Bernadino Ca. Believing Like many of us do, that these facilities exist to protect, care for, and give animals a chance. What I've since uncovered is deeply disturbing. Blu's situation is not an isolated incident-it is a symptom of a much larger, systemic failure. There are patterns. Patterns of Neglect. Patterns of early euthanasia. Patterns of animals being failed behind closed doors where the public cannot see what's really happening. I have already sent direct communications to individuals within this shelter outlining these concerns, in which there has been complacency in not responding. What has come to light only reinforces what many of us suspected. This is not transparency-This is concealment. Lets be clear. This is not about one dog. This is about a nationwide issue where animals are being processed, not protected. Where convenience outweighs compassion. Where accountability is absent, and the voiceless remains unheard.
THAT ENDS NOW!!!!!! I am calling for:
*A FULL and independent investigation into Devore Animal Shelter.
*Immediate Transparency in policies, euthenasia timelines, and handling practices.
*Public accountability for the treatment of every animal within their care.
*National awareness of systemic issues across shelters that are being ignored.
If you care about animals-if you believe they deserve dignity, protection, and a real chance-then don't scroll past this story. Please take time to read the story of Blu.
Please share this to everyone you know, talk about this, and demand answers as we are the voices for these defenseless animals. Change doesn't happen quietly-it happens when people refuse to look away.
Blu deserved better and so does every dog sitting in an animal shelter.
My hope is that this story will not be ignored and every person will share so this will end the cruelty and suffering of these dogs. Every citizen needs to get involved so we can put a STOP to what is happening behind the hidden truth of animal shelters. Please read the story below:
March 21: Blu saved by All Things Hooved Animal Rescue & his foster mom, Bonnie. ❤️
Blu already had the remainder of his tail amputated, yesterday. Why? Two male employees at Devore "Animal Shelter" actually catchpoled him in his kennel, dragged him out, choked him, and somehow managed to cut off the end of his tail, just to crate and roll him to the parking lot for pickup. 💔
When foster mom Bonnie got home and let him out of the travel crate, his eyes were swollen & bloodshot, from choking with the catchpole, and the tip of his tail was exposed bone & nerves. 💔
And his veterinary bill? Already soaring into 4 figures. 💔
Please honor pledges or donate for his care:

A scared blue boy will be lethally injected 2pm (Pacific) Wednesday March 18, at director George Harding's abusive & deadly San Bernardino County Animal Care Devore "Animal Shelter". 💔
Why? "Shut down and fearful in kennel."
Surprise: he's scared of the staff, who abuse & kill dogs, everyday. 💔
They will catchpole, hurt, & terrify him, stuff him into a rolling kennel, roll him across the property to the kill building, yank him out with the catchpole, pin him to the floor with the catchpole, and lethally inject him.
Nothing about it will be humane, and everything about it will be abusive. 💔
How many times have we seen it?
A heeler catchpoled, abused, and terrified by Devore "Animal Shelter" staff, and then killed, by staff, pretensed on the very fear they created, through abuse. 💔
The same old story of abuse, fear, and killing, on replay, at director George Harding's abusive & deadly Devore "Animal Shelter". 💔
San Bernardino, California
Blu ❤️
Male, 7 years old, intact
Has at least 1 kennelmate

Available NOW.
George Harding's Devore is aruguably the worst "animal shelter" in the nation.
Staff habitually catchpole, abuse, & terrify the dogs, and then kill them.
Since February 2023, Devore killed *at least* 19 of your heelers. 💔
