We have had several landlords over the last 20 years with many LFPT locations around the Baltimore metro area. I always tell people how well you all take care of the property and your tenants. Meet another of Obrecht's amazing team members—Margie! 🎉⁠

Margie Hammel has been with the Construction team as an Executive Assistant for 22 years! Her favorite part of Obrecht is the great group of people she gets to work with—and the opportunity to always learn something new in the industry. If you're dealing with a Microsoft program problem, Margie is the one to ask for help!

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful granddaughters, Parker (3yo) and Chase (15mo). In 2019, Margie was inducted into the Wheaton High School (Montgomery County, MD) Hall of Fame for her past participation in volleyball, basketball, softball, and field hockey. Congratulations!

When asked about what inspires her, she responded, “Live your life like you are happy to be alive, because there is an alternative.”

Meet one of Obrecht's newest team members—Michael! 🎉⁠

Michael White recently joined the team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. His favorite part of the job is the knowledge that what he does makes a difference—he takes pride in his duties, and loves seeing the work he did previously pay off down the line.

Michael is responsible for making sure that all of Obrecht's entities, expenses, and bills stay up-to-date in order to maintain positive relationships with our vendors.

Outside of work, Michael has an artistic side. He enjoys practicing photography, videography, and painting in his spare time. He views life as a time to never stop learning, and to “talk less and listen more,” citing Socrates philosophy of, “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.”
