🎓 Celebrating a Proud Milestone! 🎉

It was truly an honor for our management team to be invited by Collingwood Phase I resident, Ms. Barbara Nickson, to celebrate a very special occasion—her granddaughter Ebony Cunningham’s college graduation!

Ebony, who resides in Collingwood Phase II with her mother, recently graduated from Lourdes University, marking an incredible achievement and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

We are grateful to have been included in this joyful celebration and are proud to recognize the accomplishments of the families who call our communities home. Moments like these remind us that we are more than housing—we are a community that celebrates success, supports one another, and takes pride in our residents’ achievements.

Congratulations, Ebony! We wish you continued success as you pursue your dreams. Your Collingwood family is cheering you on every step of the way! 💙🎓

💙 Welcome to Wellness Wednesday | Lucas Metropolitan Housing

Welcome to Wellness Wednesday, a weekly initiative from Lucas Metropolitan Housing dedicated to promoting healthier lives, stronger communities, and a culture of well-being.

At LMH, we believe wellness extends beyond physical health. It includes caring for your mental, emotional, financial, and social well-being while creating opportunities to live with purpose and balance.

That commitment is reflected in our Move, Groove & Breathe wellness series, now in its second season. Through activities like walking, yoga, and line dancing, we are encouraging our employees to stay active, reduce stress, build connections, and make wellness a part of everyday life.

Each Wednesday, we will share practical wellness tips, healthy habits, local resources, motivational encouragement, and ideas designed to help our residents, employees, and community partners thrive.

Because building stronger communities begins with taking care of the people who call them home, and the people who serve them.

Join us every Wednesday as we take one small step toward a healthier, happier future.

Healthy people. Stronger communities. Brighter futures. 💙

💙 Motivational Monday | Lucas Metropolitan Housing 💙

“Service is the rent we pay for living.” Shirley Chisholm

Every new week brings another opportunity to make a difference.

At Lucas Metropolitan Housing, service is not measured by grand gestures alone. It is reflected in every resident we assist, every partnership we build, every challenge we solve, and every interaction that reminds someone they matter.

Our mission extends beyond providing housing. It is about creating stability, fostering opportunity, and strengthening communities through compassion, accountability, and service.

As you begin this week, ask yourself:

How can I make someone's day better?
How can I lead with empathy?
How can I leave a positive impact on the people I serve?

The answer doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes the smallest act of kindness creates the greatest change.

Let's continue building stronger communities, one conversation, one relationship, and one act of service at a time.

Because beyond the bricks, it's always about people. 💙
