I was born and raised right here in Metro Toledo just over the border in Bedford Township. I grew up in a family where my dad was a home builder and developer.
I went away to school at Albion College, and majored in Economics and Management. I thought I was going to be a finance guru and work on Wall Street or something.
But over my time there I realized that homes were in my blood. I came back from Albion and went to work for my dad for almost 20 years.
We built over 400 homes in this area giving me a knowledge of houses and construction that I was not going to get on Wall Street.
After the Great Recession of 2008, my dad’s health started to fail and the economy was weak, and the building company closed.
I saw that as my opportunity to try my hand in the world of finance and worked for Wells Fargo Advisors for 5 years.
Although I enjoyed my time there it started to become evident to me that again… homes were in my blood.
So I went to work for a local builder in sales and design. I honed my skills and made some great friends but knew that operating my own business was what was truly going to make me happy.
I decided to take the real estate experience I had cultivated over the years and build a real estate business.
I began my transition to real estate by starting my own home inspection company and eventually started helping people buy and sell homes in the fall of 2017.
At first, I spent a lot of time building relationships in the industry and my business grew through word of mouth.
I worked hard to be highly responsive to my clients, a good listener, pay attention to the details and do what I say I’m going to do, which helped my business grow over the following 8 years.
I strive to make my knowledge of houses and construction the cornerstone of my business, helping my clients to avoid the pitfalls of inspection issues and an increased understanding of the homes they are buying and selling.
I’ve learned over the years that my competitive nature, years of experience and an unflinching commitment to an incredible customer experience helps me get my clients the results they want.
Today, I am grateful to be helping individuals and families in the Metro Toledo area live their best life through buying and selling homes with the highest quality service and integrity.
