Innovation has the power to improve lives, and we're excited to celebrate a major milestone for Dr. Youssef Sari, founder of Astromode and a 2025 Tech419 finalist.

Recently, U.S. Representative Marcy Kaptur announced a federal research award of more than $400,000 to support Dr. Sari's work on potential new treatments for alcohol use disorder. His research focuses on developing innovative approaches to address a disease that affects millions of individuals and families across the country.

We're proud to see groundbreaking research from Northwest Ohio receiving national support and recognition. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Sari and his team on this achievement and the continued progress of their important work.

We recently had the pleasure of meeting with RedzProps, LLC. founder Joel Schoppman to learn more about his capabilities and how his skills could support future startups.

Joel is just one of the many local small businesses in our startup resource network. By staying connected with organizations across the region, we're better equipped to help founders find the right resources when opportunities arise.

On Wednesday morning, we welcomed the World Affairs Council of Northwest Ohio and the Belarusian Business Delegation to the Incubator.

Our guests toured the main campus facility, and several tenants offered a brief look at their workspaces, technologies, and business operations. The visit also included a roundtable discussion in which leaders from across The University of Toledo shared insights on innovation, commercialization, and regional resources dedicated to supporting startups and small businesses.
